Standard machine knives and blades that are in stock are shipped the same business day if your order is placed before 1:00 PM CST. Delivery typically takes 1–2 business days within the U.S. and 2–5 business days internationally, depending on the selected carrier. We always strive to deliver your order as quickly and efficiently as possible.
For custom-designed or made-to-order machine knives not currently in stock, delivery usually takes between 4 to 9 weeks. A confirmed lead time will be provided at the time of order. For more details, refer to our Purchase & Delivery Terms.
First-time orders must be prepaid. For returning business clients, we offer 30-day net terms upon approval. Payment can be made via credit card, ACH, or wire transfer.
Once your order is confirmed and shipped, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number and carrier link so you can follow your shipment in real-time.
Yes. While we supply a broad range of standard blades compatible with OEM specifications, Edgemills® also manufactures custom blades based on your design, sketch, or specifications. We offer high-precision options such as solid tungsten carbide knives, toothed blades, circular perforating knives, guillotine-style blades, and more — tailored to industries including MedTech, paper, plastics, and metalworking.
Selecting the correct blade requires accurate information about your machine model, cutting material, and current performance issues. Please provide blade dimensions, mounting details, and (if available) technical drawings or a sample. If uncertain, our engineering team will help you choose the most suitable knife for your application.
Yes, test samples are available for most standard converting blades, such as slotted slitter blades and razor blades. For custom-manufactured knives, we do not provide free samples, but you may order the minimum production quantity to test in your process. Absolutely. Many of our clients benefit from scheduled repeat orders with pre-planned delivery dates to keep production running without interruption. Proper storage is key to maintaining blade integrity. Keep blades in original protective packaging, in a dry, temperature-controlled environment. Avoid humidity and direct exposure to air. For some materials, protective coatings can extend shelf life.
